I noticed one of my favorite comedians, Mike Birbiglia, was tweeting up a storm last week and it was hilarious. He started a hashtag, #BrooklynNeck, based on Jeff Foxworthy’s “You might be a redneck.” What. A hashtag making fun of hipsters and Brooklyn’s snooty reputation? Yes please. I received a lot of interaction from my tweets, and lo and behold, I got a mention in this Brooklyn Magazine post on the hashtag prompted by Birbiglia’s promotion of a Brooklyn show.
